Nia Jax Goes In-Depth About Her Feud With Alexa Bliss

Nia Jax feels that the story is what will attract people to her and Alexa Bliss's match.

After two years on WWE's main roster Nia Jax will be getting her first-shot at championship gold as she will challenge her former "best-friend" Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women's Championship this Sunday at WrestleMania 34. Over the past few weeks on RAW, Bliss has been slandering Nia Jax about her weight, looks, and other characteristics about "The Irresistible Force". Nia Jax was interviewed by IGN ahead of her championship bout and shared that the story that has been told between her and Alexa Bliss is what will attract fans to their match.

"This is years of hard work finally paying off," Jax continued. "The fact that she's been my best friend for the last four years on the roster adds to it because there's a lot of stuff going on right now on an emotional level in the storyline. It's taking a toll on me because I loved her, and I love her as a best friend, but now she's betrayed me. Some of this is really happening. She's actually really hurt me. Some of the stuff she's saying is stuff that I've confided in her backstage or in the car. Fans have seen us progress," Jax added. "They've seen us on social media or on Total Divas and know that we were true best friends, and now there's betrayal and pain and that makes it all the more relatable and real. Especially on social media because they connect to you and feel close. They are so invested because they've been able to track this. They're watching it all crumble apart and they want to see where it's going to go. Whether you love or hate Alexa or you love or hate me, you know the story is real."

Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss do have some competition other than themselves so to speak. The SmackDown Live Women's Championship match is one that has garnered a great deal of attention with "The Queen" Charlotte Flair and "The Empress Of Tomorrow" Asuka doing battle on the card as well. Nia Jax would go on to explain the differences between the two bouts and how they both bring something different to the table

"We have an all-business match," she said. "We have the Asuka vs. Charlotte match, we have these two amazing powerhouses who come with amazing accolades and you look at them and you're attracted to them. They're going to put on an insane match and our jaws are going to drop. Then you have our match where we have a deep storyline, a real and relatable story that the fans can connect to. It's a different taste. You want to give the fans all the sides to women's wrestling. You have that amazing marquee match and you have our emotional roller coaster. So that's cool."

Nia Jax would also dive into Ronda Rousey's emergence into WWE's women's division. Jax even brought up how former WWE talent Eva Marie was amazing in other sports but her transition to sports-entertainment did not go as well as many hoped.
