Major League Wrestling & Pro Wrestling NOAH Form Working Relationship

New partnership in wrestling.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Major League Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH have formed a working relationship.

MLW issued the following statement on the partnership:

TOKYO & NEW YORK ? It is with great honor that Major League Wrestling partners with Pro Wrestling NOAH to form an alliance.

This all-encompassing partnership will feature athletes exchanged between the two organizations as well as opportunities to share content in addition to other opportunities.

The partnership will commence with an MLW wrestler participating in the 2019 N-1 Victory tour that commences this August.  The wrestler will be revealed at a later date.

?Pro Wrestling NOAH has a rich history of promoting some of the grandest wrestling bouts in the history of the sport,? said MLW CEO and Founder Court Bauer. ?This is a very exciting partnership.  We look forward to joining NOAH and beginning a new voyage for a new era.?

The two promotions will work together and exchange talent for events and tours with the goal to give talent additional working dates and improving said talent.  MLW National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone will reportedly be the first MLW talent to head to NOAH.

MLW and NOAH reportedly locked in the deal three weeks ago when Court Bauer was in Japan. The relationship began to form in April when Minoru Tanaka was in the United States to work WrestleMania weekend dates with MLW.

The report comes one day after Ring of Honor and the National Wrestling Alliance ended their working relationship. Nick Aldis was scheduled to work ROH Summer Supercard but has since been pulled from the card. You can find more information by clicking here.

MLW is currently holding its Never Say Never event in New York City. Fightful will have full results from the event following its conclusion.
