After his goal, the Ipswich Town FC Twitter account posted a GIF of Norwood and his stadium screen goal celebration, which might be familiar to wrestling fans.
After the match, Norwood commented on the victory with another familiar wrestling phrase.
The man himself, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson noticed Norwood's homage to The Great One and responded with praise.
It's been a good month for The Rock as the global superstar got married on Aug. 18 and was named the highest-paid actor in Forbes' annual list.
