Sasha Banks is impressed with Ronda Rousey.
Ronda Rousey has been in the WWE since appearing after the very first Women's Royal Rumble and now has became a part of the Women's division. In an interview with CBS Sports' podcast In This Corner, Sasha Banks admitted she was not keen on the idea of Rousey coming straight to the main roster but she said Rousey changed her mind and proved a lot of people wrong.
"When I first heard she was going to be here I was a bit like, 'That's not really fair.' But she has proven that she belongs and I'm really excited for her to be here with us. Man, I'm a big fan of her," said Banks.
Banks praised Rousey by saying "she gets it" and said she provides a believability when receiving her opponent's offense. Banks loved both Rousey's pay-per-view matches so far.
"She has been killing it. She has proven all the doubters wrong, and it's so crazy to see her matches. I'm in shock; I'm in awe. I loved her match at WrestleMania. I loved her match at Money in the Bank," said Banks.
In the rest of the interview, Banks went into detail about Rousey's Money in the Bank match against Nia Jax and spoke about her own match which was the Money in the Bank ladder match.
