Tama Tonga Makes It Clear That The Bullet Club Block Party Is Not An Invasion Of WrestleMania 35

The Bullet Club is just looking to have a good time.

WrestleMania 35 weekend is nearing closer and there are a number of wrestling shows and wrestling-related events occurring from April 4th through the 9th. On top of the WWE events of the weekend, Game Changer Wrestling, STARDOM and WrestleCon are hosting shows in New York City. New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor are running Madison Square Garden on April 6th for their joint G1 Supercard show.

On the day of WrestleMania 35, the current members of Bullet Club are hosting a Block Party down the street from MetLife Stadium. One-half of the current IWGP Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and clarified that there will be no invasion of WrestleMania and that Bullet Club will be there to have a good time and no lines will be crossed.

“We’re only a block away from WrestleMania, but this ain’t no invasion. We’re paying our respect, having some fun. This is all legit, we ain’t trying to cross no lines. This is the time to showcase our new squad and show why Jay White is our guy,” said Tonga. “America knew the guys from The Elite, but I want to leave an imprint of the new guys and remind everyone what Bullet Club is all about as we enter the age of the Cut Throat Era.”

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are set to defend their IWGP Tag Team Championships against the ROH World Tag Team Champions in a titles versus titles match at G1 Supercard. Tama said that although he and Tanga are already holding tag team gold, there is more than enough room for the ROH World Tag Team Titles.

"We’re IWGP Tag Team Champions, but don’t worry, there is still room around our waists for the Ring Of Honor Tag Titles,” said Tonga. “There’s always room. There is room for all the belts from every promotion.”

The Guerrillas Of Destiny's challengers at G1 Supercard will be determined at Ring Of Honor's 17th Anniversary pay-per-view where the current ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes clash with PCO and Brody King to determine who'll represent ROH in the titles versus titles match at Madison Square Garden on April 6th.
