Tony Schiavone Jokes That Sting Could Be Batman If He Had The Gadgets And The Funds

Tony Schiavone says Sting could become Batman if he had the tools.

Schiavone, works for AEW as their Senior Producer, Special Advisor and Talent Relations, in addition to his on-screen roles. Throughout his legendary career, he has often been linked with Sting; they go way back, Schiavone has had his iconic way of announcing Sting's presence on TV since their days in AEW. Sting's character is often compared to a vigilante, as he dishes out justice, and he wears black-and-white face paint. In the past, he also lurked high above the arena like a watchful protector, or as some may see it, a dark knight.

Speaking on What Happened When, Schiavone answered various questions from fans. In one highlight, he noted that Sting could become Batman.

When co-host Conrad Thompson asked Schiavone which wrestler could become Batman if they had the tools and the gadgets, he simply responded by saying, "Sting."

On a similar note, Schiavone was asked to share his opinion as to which actor is the best Batman. He named Christian Bale but noted that his answer might be linked more to the movies than the person. Schiavone also expressed his opinion regarding which Batman was the worst.

“The best at playing Batman, to me, is still Christian Bale, and I think it’s maybe more because of the movies than it was the actual person. To me, the worst Batman…it’s either [Ben] Affleck or [George] Clooney," he said.
