You Can Bid On A WWE 24/7 Title Signed By The Gobbledy Gooker

You can now own a replica WWE 24/7 Championship signed by one of the most infamous characters in WWE history.

At Survivor Series 2020, WWE celebrated 30 years of The Undertaker but another legend celebrated his 30th anniversary. The Gobbledy Gooker also debuted at the 1990 Survivor Series but he celebrated his 30th anniversary in a unique fashion.

On the pre-show before the Survivor Series event, The Gooker won his first championship in WWE history when he picked up the WWE 24/7 Championship by defeating R-Truth. He would go on to lose the gold to Akira Tozawa who would lose it immediately back to R-Truth.

WWE is currently holding an auction for a replica version of the WWE 24/7 Championship "signed by the character" and as of this writing, the highest bid is $315.00. You can check out the auction at this link.

Back in 1990, the character was played by Hector Guerrero, brother of Eddie Guerrero, and was meant to be a mascot for the WWE who would be able to interact with audiences during house shows during a time where WWE was very family-oriented.

The Gobbledy Gooker of course made his debut coming out of a giant egg. A popular rumor of that day was that Undertaker would make his debut as “The Eggman” by coming out of the egg. The rumor got so much traction that Mark Calaway himself thought it might actually be a possibility.

At Survivor Series 2020, the character was played by a regular fixture of the WWE 24/7 Championship picture, Drew Gulak. Learn more about that at this link.
