Hero Boy Who Saved His Brother From Drowning Gives Credit To The Rock, Rock Responds

When 10-year-old Jacob O'Connor saw his 2-year-old brother Dylan laying face-down in their grandmother's pool, he had one thought: What would The Rock do?

Jacob pulled Dylan from the pool and began chest compressions. He had no training in CPR, but he had seen Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson perform chest compressions during San Andreas, the 2015 summer blockbuster in which Johnson plays a rescue helicopter pilot. Jacob was a good study, because Dylan pulled through.

The reports of Jacob's heroism reached his idol, and The Rock took to Instagram to praise Jacob and invite the entire O'Connor family to come out to Vancouver and be his guest as he films another upcoming blockbuster.

The Rock wrote:

I gotta shake the hand of a real life 10yr old hero.
Jacob, I'm gonna fly you and your family out to Vancouver so I can meet you. Hopefully, your little 2yr old brother, Dylan is well enough to fly because I wanna meet him too.
I'll have some very nice people contact your family in the upcoming days to make the arrangements.
Can't wait to meet you big man. And make sure you bring your sweet tooth!
