Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) Gives Insight Into How WWE Contracts Work
Recently, Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) has tried to help wrestlers with finances in order to better the future of the business.
In a new Instagram video, he explained how WWE contracts work with downside guarantees and what is called the “bucket system.”
With the bucket system, wrestlers can get paid via main event bonuses, TV bonuses, merchandise checks, and more against their downside guarantee, and if their bucket ends up positive, they get that money at the end of the year. If their bucket is negative, they do not owe that money. He said that 90% of wrestlers end up with a negative bucket.
