Gringo Loco Says Upcoming Match Against Jon Moxley Is 'Probably' The Biggest Match Of His Career

Gringo Loco is ready to compete in the most important match of his career.

After months of scheduling issues, Jon Moxley will finally get to face off against Gringo Loco at Wrestling REVOLVER's 'Mox vs. Gringo' event on January 25, 2024.

Moxley and Loco were originally set to face off in the promotion back in October, but the match was cancelled due to the injury that Moxley was dealing with at the time.

While speaking to Fightful's Cresta Starr for a new interview, Loco looked ahead to the match and called it the biggest match of his career.

“I know how important this is to my career, probably the biggest match of my 21 year career. I’m going into it focused and I know that for whatever reason, the match hasn’t happened but I think organically it has grown into something a lot more special than it would have been. It would’ve been just a match before, which would’ve been great, but now there’s a little more substance to it, a banter between him and I. Everything that Revolver is offering me on this table, they’re naming the show after the match. It’s such an incredible opportunity. I don’t know if he thinks that I’m scared of him, I don’t know what his thought process is, but I’m also a crazy and maniacal person as well. I don’t know if people know my history in Mexico City and some of the matches that I’ve had down there, but if you really bring out the rabid dog in Gringo Loco, Moxley’s gonna have a fight for himself. I really look forward to seeing what happens that night.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Loco called El Hijo Del Vikingo one of the best wrestlers in the world. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
