JBL Says He’d Put Mask vs. Mask In The Same Category As Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels At WrestleMania 25
JBL continues with his praise for Mask vs. Mask.
Layfield has been leading the charge with the recent wave of praise for AAA, specifically shouting out the likes of Chad Gable, Jeremy Borash, The Undertaker, and El Grande Americano.
In a new interview with Fox News Digital, JBL went a step further with his praise, saying that the recent Mask vs. Mask match in AAA belongs in the same category as Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25.
“I felt the same way with Mask vs. Mask. I never thought I’d see another match (like that). I was hoping I would but I don’t know if I’d ever see a match like I saw with Finlay and St. Clair and Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. I’d put that in that category. I just thought it was absolutely incredible. The passion, the emotion that went with it. Everything about it worked.”
