Matt Jackson: AEW's Legal Team Is Working On Securing VISAS For OWE Talents

Matt Jackson has big plans in store for OWE.

At the All Elite Wrestling rally earlier this month, Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks announced the partnership between AEW and China-based 'Oriental Wrestling Entertainment'. The Kung-Fu style of professional wrestling that OWE presents grabbed the attention of Matt Jackson as well as fellow in-ring performer and current NEVER Openweight Champion Will Ospreay.

OWE Vice President Michael Nee stated during an interview earlier this month that the promotion will try its best to give AEW all the resources that they need and went in detail about how the partnership came to be. Matt Jackson also spoke on that in an interview with 'Nuclear Convoy' and shared that when he came across an OWE clip on social media, he was instantly attracted to their product.

"Immediately when I saw a couple of GIFS of the OWE guys on Twitter, I was attracted." Jackson shared. "So, I looked up more clips and did research on them. I quickly learned my old friend CIMA, who I’d made friends with years ago in Japan, was affiliated with them. That made sense right away, because the clips I watched had a real Dragon Gate feel to it. Yet still, it looked and felt so original. Like a fight scene from an old Kung Fu movie.  I knew I’d one day work with these guys right away. I’m attracted to anything out of the ordinary."

'Oriental Wrestling Entertainment' will be spotlighted at 'Double Or Nothing' come May 25th in Las Vegas. It has been tasking to get VISAS for the OWE talents because of the United States-China trade war but Matt Jackson says that AEW's legal team is sorting things out in that department.

"We are currently working on securing VISAS as we speak. We’ve got a great legal team behind us, with lots of wonderful resources. We are fully expecting to have OWE represented at Double Or Nothing." He said.
