Willow Nightingale: Being Mercedes Mone's First AEW Opponent Would Be An Honor, I Think I'm Deserving

- Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to start the show, Orton says he beat Edge just like he said he would do at WWE Backlash ‘20. Orton says that he also gave Edge closure in their match, Orton says that he tried to help Edge ever since he returned at the Royal Rumble. Orton says the win has made him the greatest wrestler ever and he doesn’t need a title to prove it, Orton thanks Edge for reigniting his fire and to becoming the Legend Killer again. Orton says he knew that he injured Edge at WWE Backlash, Orton says he has sent Edge back home to his family. Orton says that Edge may not be cleared to wrestle for another nine years, Christian interrupts and he makes his way to the ring. Christian questions Orton’s manhood for gloating about what happened to Edge last night, Christian says Orton won’t say how Edge’s story ends. Orton says everything is between he and Edge and Christian shouldn’t be involved, Orton says that Christian wants one more match. Orton challenges Christian to an Unsanctioned Match tonight, Orton says the offer expires at the end of the show.

- Charly Caruso interviews Angela Garza and Zelina Vega, Vega says that there are no problems between Garza and Andrade. Garza says he was just trying to help Andrade at WWE Backlash ‘20, Vega says he show that Kevin Owens is inferior tonight. Andrade interrupts and he wished Garza good luck against Owens, Andrade warns Garza of what could happen if he doesn’t win tonight.

Kevin Owens vs. Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega

The match begins with Owens avoiding a basement drop kick from Garza, Owens attacks Garza with strikes while Andrade makes his way to the ring. Owens goes right back to attacking Garza with strikes, Garza fights back and lands some shots of his own. Owens takes Garza’s pants off and he throws them at him, Garza avoids the stunner and he goes to the ring apron. Owens quickly knocks Garza to the arena floor, Garza and Andrade argue until an angry Vega heads backstage as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Garza working over the leg of Owens in the corner, Garza nails the injured leg with a drop kick. Garza misses a charge into the corner and Owens quickly lands some strikes, Owens looks for the cannonball and Garza avoids it before landing a head kick. Garza then hits Owens with a missile drop kick for a near fall, Garza keeps Owens down while attacking him with strikes. Garza wrenches away on the leg of Owens until Owens gets to the ropes, Owens fights back and Andrade interferes. Garza gets distracted as well by Andrade and Owens hits him with a stunner for a three count.

Winner: Kevin Owens

After the match, Zelina Vega returns to ringside and she gets into the ring, Vega tells Angel Garza and Andrade that they need to stop fighting each other.

- Highlights are shown of Drew McIntyre vs.. Bobby Lashley from WWE Backlash ‘20.

- MVP and Bobby Lashley are talking backstage when Sarah Schreiber arrives for an interview, Lashley says they are in a strategy session right now for their match tonight. MVP says Lashley was cheated out of his title opportunity last night, MVP says the situation will be addresses right now before leaving with Lashley.

- Bobby Lashley and MVP make their way to the ring, MVP gets the microphone to say that Lashley’s night was ruined by Lana interfering in the match. MVP continues blaming Lana for Lashley not being the WWE Champion right now, MVP says Drew McIntyre should give Lashley an immediate rematch. Lana interrupts and makes her way to the ring, Lana says Lashley was stupid for banishing her from ringside in the first place. Lana says she has even put his career in front of her career, Lana says that everything went wrong when MVP showed up. Lana claims that Lashley is being manipulated by MVP, Lashley says that he didn’t win last night because Lana made everything about her. Lashley says he is bothered by Lana putting their personal life on social media, Lashley says he wants a divorce from Lana.

- Highlights are shown of what went down at WWE Backlash ‘20 between The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders.

- Sarah Schreiber interviews The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders, Montez Ford says they couldn’t break the tie last night because they had to work together against ninjas. Akira Tozawa shows up with some ninjas and he wants a sequel with them, Tozawa brings in his super tall ninja while everybody has to hold Erik back.

The Viking Profits (Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Erik & Ivar) vs. Akira Tozawa & Three Ninjas w/Big Ninja

The match begins with Erik nailing a ninja with a shotgun drop kick, Dawkins tags in and he nails the ninja with a spear. Erik then slams Dawkins onto a downed ninja, Ford tags in and he double teams a ninja with Ivar before Ivar tags in, Dawkins and Erik nail two ninjas with a few spears. Ivar and Ford land stereo frog splashes on some ninjas for a three count.

Winners: The Viking Profits (Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Erik & Ivar)

After the match, Akira Tozawa and the big ninja hit the ring as The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders summon Big Show to the ring. Show destroys a bunch of ninjas alongside The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders until the ring is cleared.

- Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says no one has seen Dominik Mysterio yet, but he can sense his presence. Rollins says he needs Dominik here tonight, Rollins says he is head to the ring to deliver a message to Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

- Christian is talking on a phone backstage and he tells the person on the other end that he hasn’t made a decision on whether or not to face Randy Orton.

- Highlights are shown of Seth Rollins injuring Rey Mysterio last month on WWE Raw.

- Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and he has something to say, Rollins talks about inviting Rey Mysterio to tonight’s Raw. Rollins says that Rey sacrificed himself for the greater good of WWE Raw, Rollins says Rey declined the invitation to appear and Dominik Mysterio has decided to come instead. Rey appears on the big screen and he says that he didn’t know Dominik was coming to Raw until it was too late, Rollins says he wants to help and not hurt Dominick. Rollins says that Rey should want Dominik to join his crew, Rollins says that Murphy and Austin Theory are out looking for Dominik. Rollins says Dominik must be sacrificed if he isn’t willing to be a part of the solution, Rey threatens Rollins in case Rollins decides to hurt Dominik. Dominik comes from out of nowhere and he attacks Rollins from behind, Murphy and Theory come to ringside. Dominik avoids everybody before heading out of the building.

- MVP is backstage talking to Bobby Lashley when R-Truth arrives, R-Truth talks about Lashley losing at WWE Backslash ‘20 and also getting a divorce.

- MVP and Bobby Lashley are giving chase to R-Truth when they find him under one of the training rings, Drew McIntyre arrives to be backup for R-Truth. MVP says McIntyre isn’t a champion and is a pretender instead, MVP says Lashley is still the top contender to the title. MVP says that McIntyre and R-Truth should put their titles on the line tonight in their tag team match, R-Truth agrees to the stipulation for his team.

The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay) vs. Liv Morgan & Natalya

The match begins with Natalya tagging herself into the match, Royce jumps Natalya as she talks to Morgan. Kay tags in as Royce nails Natalya with a double stomp from the top rope, Kay keeps Natalya down while applying a chin lock to her. Natalya gets free and Kay nails her with a suplex, Kay then hits Natalya with an elbow drop for a near fall. Kay goes after Morgan and Natalya rolls her up before tagging Morgan in, Morgan quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Morgan hits Kay with a missile drop kick for a near fall, Morgan rolls up Kay while Royce distracts the referee. Royce tags in and The IIconics hit Morgan with the Fall From Grace for a three count.

Winners: The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)

After the match, The IIconics get the microphone to call out Sasha Banks and Bayley, Peyton Royce says they want a women’s tag team title match on Raw. The champions do not come out and Billie Kay says they can have the match next week.

- Christian is backstage when Big Show arrives, Show says there is an ulterior motive to Randy Orton wanting to have an Unsanctioned Match with him.

- Natalya is yelling at Liv Morgan backstage and she blames her for losing the tag match, Morgan walks away in disgust. Natalya keeps talking and says she has built the women’s division for nothing but ingrates, Lana arrives and talks about her problems. Lana says she is tired of being blamed for everyone’s problems and Natalya says she knows how Lana feels.

- Charly Caruso interviews Christian, who talks about what Randy Orton called him earlier tonight and he won’t be disrespected. Christian says that he accepts Orton’s challenge for an Unsanctioned Match.

- MVP approaches Apollo Crews backstage, MVP says that Crews should be fighting the right people at the right time for the right money. MVP warns Crews of potentially burning out and losing the WWE United States Title, MVP offers Crews his help and Crews turns him down. MVP says Crews will only remain a champion with him in his corner.

- Ric Flair is talking to Charlotte Flair backstage, Ric wants to know what is getting under Charlotte’s skin and Charlotte says she’ll do what she wants.

WWE United States Championship
Apollo Crews (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin

The match begins with Benjamin getting Crews in a headlock, Crews gets free and he eats a shoulder tackle before nailing Benjamin with a drop kick. Crews then nails Benjamin with an avalanche, Benjamin avoids another avalanche before hitting Crews with a release German suplex. Benjamin then hits Crews with a knee strike for a near fall, Benjamin keeps Crews down while applying a chin lock to him. Crews gets free and he exchanges strikes with Benjamin, Benjamin misses a spin kick attempt and Crews nails him with an enziguri. Crews then hits Benjamin with a standing moonsault for a near fall, Crews looks for a press slam and Benjamin counters with his feet on the ropes for a near fall. Crews catches Benjamin with a roll up with his hands on the ropes for a three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews, still the WWE United States Champion

- R-Truth is approached by Akira Tozawa and his ninjas backstage, Tozawa threatens R-Truth and Drew McIntyre arrives to scare them off. McIntyre says he wants R-Truth to be serious in their match tonight, R-Truth says he understands before walking off.

- A video package airs highlighting the rivalry between Asuka and Nia Jax.

- Charly Caruso interviews Asuka, who says a bunch of stuff in her native Japanese before saying she will finish the fight Nia Jax started.

- Drew McIntyre is approached by R-Truth backstage, R-Truth says he talked to the higher ups and only McIntyre’s title is on the line now for tonight’s match. R-Truth says he won’t let McIntyre lose his title tonight.

- The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders are backstage when the Big Show arrives, Show says they should settle their rivalry with a tag team title match next week.

WWE Championship Match
Drew McIntyre (c) & R-Truth vs. Bobby Lashley & MVP

The match begins with McIntyre backing Lashley into the corner before landing some strikes, McIntyre then nails Lashley with a Glasgow Kick and clothesline. Lashley gets to the ropes before attacking McIntyre with some strikes, Lashley corners McIntyre before landing a corner spear. MVP tags in as McIntyre knocks Lashley out of the ring, McIntyre nails MVP with a neck breaker before R-Truth tags himself in. MVP drops R-Truth with a suplex before tagging Lashley in, Lashley gets R-Truth out of the ring and he throws him into the barricade as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Lashley working over R-Truth in the ring, MVP tags in and he nails a cornered R-Truth with a boot to the face for a near fall. R-Truth fights back and he nails MVP with a leg lariat, McIntyre and Lashley are tagged in by their respective partners. McIntyre quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, MVP tags in and McIntyre knocks him to the arena floor. McIntyre leaves the ring and he throws MVP into the barricade before getting him in the ring, McIntyre goes to the top rope and he nails MVP with a clothesline.

McIntyre nails MVP with a Future Shock DDT for a near fall. Lashley interferes before knocking R-Truth out of the ring. R-Truth then sends a charging Lashley into the ring steps, McIntyre then hits MVP with a Claymore Kick. R-Truth tags in and he works with McIntyre to hit MVP with a Rocket Launcher for a three count.

Winners: Drew McIntyre & R-Truth, Drew McIntyre retains the title

- Ric Flair approaches Christian backstage, Flair warns Christian about facing Randy Orton in an Unsanctioned Match tonight. Christian tells Flair that he won’t regret facing Orton tonight.

- Sasha Banks & Bayley make their way to the ring, Bayley says they have a lot to celebrate tonight after successfully defending the women’s tag team titles last night. Bayley is also celebrating her birthday and she wants to celebrate all week. Banks starts addressing The IIconics and The IIconics make their way to the ring. The IIconics want an answer to their challenge, both teams do some trash talking and things briefly get physical until Bayley agrees to the challenge.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax

The match begins with Asuka attacking Jax with a drop kick, Jax recovers and she nails Asuka with multiple clotheslines. Asuka catches Jax in an arm bar from out of nowhere, Jax gets free and Asuka misses a hip attack. Jax gets Asuka on her shoulders and Asuka gets free to attack her further, Jax gets back in the ring and she drops a swinging Asuka with a right. Jax toys with Asuka and Asuka catches her in another arm bar, Jax breaks the hold by getting out of the ring. Asuka goes for a baseball slide drop kick and Jax catches her before landing a power bomb on the arena floor as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Jax holding Asuka in a torture rack. Asuka gets free and she nails Jax with a code breaker followed by a sliding head kick for a near fall, Asuka goes to the top rope and Jax follows her up there. Asuka gets free and she hands Jax in the corner before landing a double stomp for a near fall, Asuka keeps Jax down while landing a few kicks. Jax fights back and she nails Asuka with a headbutt followed by a Samoan drop, Jax argues with the referee and she shoves him down. Asuka surprises Jax with a roll up for a three count.

Winner: Asuka, still the Raw Women’s Champion

- Charly Caruso interviews Randy Orton, who says that Christian is a legend and there are no rules or regulations in their match tonight. Orton says he’ll destroy the legend of Christian tonight.

- Ric Flair comes to the ring before the Unsanctioned Match begins, Flair grabs the microphone and he tries stopping Christian from facing Randy Orton. Christian says he has do face Orton and he sends Flair out of the ring.

Unsanctioned Match
Randy Orton vs. Christian

The match begins with Flair nailing Christian with a low blow, Orton then hits Christian with the punt for a three count.

Winner: Randy Orton

After the match, randy Orton demands the medical team take care of the injured Christian.
