This is the Fightful.com recap for this week's episode of New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS and it is set to be a memorable one as tonight we have the final two matches of Shinsuke Nakamura before he left for WWE. We have Shinsuke teaming up with YOSHI-HASHI against AJ Styles and Kenny Omega then we have CHAOS versus Hirooki Goto, Katsuyori Shibata and Hiroshi Tanahashi!
Shinsuke Nakamura & YOSHI-YASHI vs AJ Styles & Kenny Omega
Shinsuke and AJ lock it up to start, alternating grappling before they break. They lock up again, but no clean break as AJ attacks Shinsuke then puts on a wrist lock. Shinsuke gets out and hits AJ with a series of kicks, following up with the good virbations. Shinsuke hits the double knees to the corner for a quick 2 count, AJ hitting him with a series of punches and kicks, Shinsuke fighting back, but Aj drdops him with an enzugiri before tagging in Kenny. Kenny and Shinsuke exchange chops then Shinsuke drops him with a roundhouse kick. YOSHI comes in and hits a code red, Shinsuke hitting a running knee for a close 2 count that AJ breaks up. Shinsuke goes for the Bomaye, but Kenny counters into a greenbay plunge, going to the top rope for a moonsault, but Shinsuke gets his knees up. Kenny turns Shinsuke inside out with a lariat then hits a powerbomb for a close 2 count of his own. Kenny goes for the One Winged Angel, but Shinsuke counters then YOSHI runs into Shinsuke. Kenny hits Shinsuke with several running knee strikes for a quick 1 count. Shinsuke hits an exploder suplex then AJ hits him with the phenomenal forearm just as he's about to go for a bomaye. AJ hits a pele kick then Kenny hits a reverse frakensteiner. Kenny hits One Winged Angel for the pin and the win. This win was the start of the meteoric rise of Kenny Omega in New Japan.

-After the match Kenny puts the One Winged Angel on AJ, the rest of the Bullet Club coming out and fighting each other then we find out it was all their plan and they essentially excommunicate AJ from the Bullet Club and Kenny is the new leader as AJ is set to join Nakamura in WWE. It's pretty interesting because Gallows and Anderson and Cody square off against Kenny and the Young Bucks and they side with them, beginning the process for The ELITE to be formed and for Anderson and Gallows to leave for WWE to start The Club. Kenny gets on the mic and says no one should be surprised because AJ had it coming, the Bullet Club made him a star and Kenny starved and struggled, forcing himself to be a Jr heavyweight. Kenny declares that AJ has been fired and says he's coming for Shinsuke, of course this was before anyone knew he was leaving too so we never got to see the singles match.
Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii vs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata
Goto and Okada start it off, locking up then Goto attacks Okada against the ropes. Goto drops Okada with a shoulder block then Okada goes to the outside to regroup. Okada gets back in then as Goto goes to come back in Okada hits a dropkick. Okada tags in Ishii and Goto tags in Shibata, locking up for a series of clean breaks before they exchange chops and forearms in the center of the ring. Shibata ends up winning the exchange then puts on a figure four leg lock, Ishii getting to the ropes. Tanahashi comes in and Ishii tags in Shinsuke to a huge pop. They lock up for a clean break then Shinsuke hits Tana with a knee, Tana taking Shinsuke to the mat with an arm drag then puts on an arm lock. Tana tagss in Shibata and they double team Shinsuke, the two locking up, Shibata mocking Shinsuke's clean break pose. Shinsuke puts on a rear naked, but Shibata counters and puts one on him before hitting a snapmare and kicking him in the back. Shibata hits Shinsuke with kicks then Shinsuke counters with his own. Shinsuke hits good vibrations then a jumping knee for a quick 2 count, Chaos hitting a triple big boot then drops Ishii on Shibata for a close 2 count. Ishii hits a headbutt then kicks Shibata before chopping him again. Shibata dropkicks Shinsuke who's on the apron then Ishii drops him with a sliding lariat.
Okada comes in and hits a flip senton for a quick 2 count then tags in Shinsuke who puts on a front choke then Okada gets back in, whipping Shibata into the corner, but Shibata counters with a kick. Shibata tags in Goto who drops Okada and takes out the rest of Chaos on the apron. Goto hits a spinning kick then a backdrop for a quick 2 count, following up with a series of forearms in the corner. Okada hits a back elbow then a DDT, following up with a reverse european uppercut for a quick 2 count of his own. Okada hits a flapjack then tags in Shinsuke who hits a series of kicks to Goto, Goto turning him inside out with a clothesline before tagging in Tanahashi. Tana and Nakamura face of in the center of the ring then exchange forearm strikes, Tana dropping him with a forearm. Tanahashi hits a scoop slam then a senton off the second rope for a quick 2 count, Tanahashi hitting a dragon screw leg whip. Shinsuke hits the double knees in the corner then an exploder suplex, going for the Bomaye, but Shibata hits him with a dropkick, Goto hitting an ushi garoshi then Tana goes for the High Fly Flow, but Shinsuke counters. Shinsuke goes for another Bomaye, but Tana hits a sling blade, Ishii and Shibata getting back in then exchange more forearms. Shibata hits a series of running kicks in the the corner then a dropkick, following up with a floatover suplex for a quick 2 count. Chaos come in and hit tripe team moves on Shibata for a close 2 count, everyone coming in and taking each other out. Ishii gets another close 2 count on Shibata, Shibata putting Ishii in a triangle, but Shinsuke stops it, Tanahashi quickly tossing Shinsuke out of the ring and going after him. Shibata puts on a rear naked, but Ishii gets to the ropes, Shibata kicking him across the ring. Okada hits a dropkick then Shinsuke hits a Bomaye, Ishii hitting a brain buster for the pin and the win.
Winner: CHAOS via pinfall
-After the match Kenny Omega comes out and faces off with Shinsuke as Tanahashi steps between them, Tanahashi telling Kenny to shut up and that he will face him for the belt. Then we have a heartfelt goodbye by everyone, especially Okada who carries Shinsuke around on his shoulders.
