Syota Umino vs. Tetsuhiro Yagi

The match begins with Yagi attacking Umino with a chop followed by a forearm strike, the two then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Yagi backs Umino into the corner while landing some more strikes, Yagi then hits Umino with a running back elbow strike followed by kicks. Umino recovers to land a running back elbow strike followed by a hip toss for a near fall, Umino follows that up with a back body drop for another near fall. Umino looks for the Boston crab before slamming Yagi multiple times, Umino would then trap Yagi in the corner while landing multiple chops. Umino gets Yagi up to land some forearm strikes, Yagi recovers and he drops a charging Umino with a drop kick.

Yagi then nails Umino with a running back elbow strike followed by a basement drop kick for a near fall, Yagi follows that up by slamming Umino before applying the Boston crab and Umino makes it to the ropes after a long struggle. Yagi gets angry and he nails Umino with a plethora of strikes, Umino recovers to catch a charging Yagi with a drop kick. Umino would then catch Yagi with a spine buster followed by a missile drop kick for a near fall, Umino applies the Boston crab and Yagi taps out.

Winner: Syota Umino

Taichi vs. Tomoyuki Oka

The match begins with Oka attacking Taichi with a plethora of strikes after Taichi took his time getting ready for the bout, Oka would then drop Taichi with a shoulder tackle followed by some stomps. Taichi nails Oka with a spin kick to the midsection, Taichi then drops Oka before nailing him with multiple kicks. Taichi gets Oka out of the ring before throwing him into the barricade, Taichi gets Oka in the ring to apply a single leg crab. Oka eventually makes it to the ropes after a long struggle, Taichi gets up and he kicks away at a downed Oka. Oka tries fighting back and Taichi drops him with a single kick, Oka recovers and he nails Taichi with a belly to belly suplex.

Oka then hits a cornered Taichi with an avalanche followed by a gut wrench suplex for a near fall, Oka misses a charge to the corner and Taichi kicks him in the head. Oka catches a kick from Taichi to nail him with a slam for a near fall, Taichi recovers and he drops Oka with a clothesline. Taichi then hits Oka with a kick to the head for a near fall, Taichi catches Oka with a super kick for a three count.

Winner: Taichi

Michael Elgin, Togi Makabe & Toa Henare vs. Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Tonga Loa)

The match begins with Takahashi catching Elgin with a few strikes, Elgin and Takahashi then get into a forearm striking exchange. Elgin eats a kick before nailing Takahashi with a delayed vertical suplex, Elgin then hits Takahashi with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Henare tags in and he works with Elgin to double team Takahashi for a near fall, Takahashi fights back and he tries smashing the head of Henare into the turnbuckle. Henare then drops Takahashi with a headbutt, Takahashi recovers to bite the hand of Henare and then propel him out of the ring. A Brawl breaks out between both teams on the arena floor, Takahashi grabs the pimp cane and he nails Henare with it.

Fale gets Makabe into the crowd before attacking him with steel chairs, Takahashi gets Henare back into the ring and Loa tags into the match. Loa then hits Henare with a running power slam for a near fall, Loa slows things down by holding Henare in a chin lock. Loa picks up Henare and he slams him into the corner, Fale tags in and he stands on top of a downed Henare. Henare tries fighting back and Fale drops him with a single blow, Fale misses a charge in the corner and Makabe tags into the match. Makabe quickly cleans house against the opposing team, Makabe mounts Fale in the corner while landing a plethora of punches. Makabe then drops Fale with a clothesline for a near fall, Fale recovers to nail Makabe with a Samoan drop.

Loa and Henare get tagged in by their respective partners, Henare quickly drops Loa with a series of shoulder tackles. Henare then hits Loa with a spear from out of nowhere, Loa would then get triple teamed by the opposition. Henare nails Loa with a top rope shoulder tackle for a near fall, members of both teams battle on the arena floor. Loa catchea a charging Henare with a modified neck breaker before Elgin lays him out with a discus forearm, members of both teams hit the ring and they take each other out. Loa then hits Henare with a spine buster for a near fall, Loa then hits Henare with Ape Shit for the three count.

Winners: Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Tonga Loa)

Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) vs. Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.)

The match begins with Smith Jr attacking Yano with some strikes in the corner, Smith Jr follows that up by dropping Yano with a shoulder tackle. Ishii tags in and he attacks Smith Jr with a ton of shoulder tackles, Archer distracts Ishii and Smith Jr catches him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Archer and Yano then take their battle to the arena floor, Smith Jr and Ishii also take their battle outside the ring before Ishii is thrown into the barricade. Smith Jr gets back in the ring and he nails Ishii with a few strikes, Archer tags in and he attacks a cornered Ishii with more strikes. Archer follows those up by nailing Ishii with an avalanche, Archer would also choke Ishii in the corner.

Ishii tries fighting back and Archer drops him with a single blow, Smith Jr tags in and he nails Ishii with a double slam alongside Archer. Smith Jr slows things down by wrenching away on the arm of Ishii, Smith Jr misses a charge in the corner and Ishii caches him with a release German suplex. Yano tags in and he removes the turnbuckle pad from the corner, Smith Jr then throws Yano into the exposed corner before landing a side Russian leg sweep. Smith Jr attempts a moonsault and Yano gets out of the way, Yano then propels Smith Jr into the exposed corner for a near fall. Smith Jr recovers and he catches Yano with a belly to back suplex, Smith Jr then applies the cross face to Yano and Yano eventually gets to the ropes.

Yano recover and he catches Smith Jr with an inverted atomic drop, Ishii and Archer get tagged in by their respective partners. Archer quickly catches a charging Ishii with The Pounce for a near fall, KES then hit Ishii with a Hart Attack for a near fall. Yano grabs Smith Jr and he drags him out of the ring, Ishii recovers to nail Archer with a lariat for a near fall. Ishii goes for a sliding lariat and Archer stops it from happening, Ishii then hits Smith Jr with a belly to back suplex. Ishii then hits Archer with a suplex before tagging Yano in, Archer nails Yano with a full nelson bomb before tagging Smith Jr in. Smith Jr nails Yano with a bridged butterfly suplex for a near fall, KES then hits Yano with a double shoulder tackle.

Ishii hits the ring and KES nails him with a double shoulder tackle, Smith Jr nails Yano with a low blow followed by a roll up for a near fall. Archer and Ishii continue their battle on the arena floor, KES nail Yano with a Killer Bomb for a three count.

Winners: Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.)

After the match, KES challenge Evil & Sanada for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

David Finlay & Juice Robinson vs. Chaos (Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi)

The match begins with Finlay and Yoshi-Hashi doing a little chain wrestling, Yoshi-Hashi then drops Finlay with a shoulder tackle. Finlay recovers and he nails a charging Yoshi-Hashi with a drop kick, Robinson tags into the match and Yoshi-Hashi nails him with a rolling neck breaker. Goto tags in and Chaos hits Robinson with some double team moves, Goto then nails Robinson with a suplex for a near fall. Goto slows things down further by holding Robinson in a chin lock, Goto releases the hold to nail Robinson with some elbow strikes. Yoshi-Hashi tags in and he applies a chin lock to Robinson, Yoshi-Hashi releases the hold to nail Robinson with a few strikes.

Yoshi-Hashi then gets Robinson on the top rope before landing a drop kick, Goto tags in and he double teams Robinson with Yoshi-Hashi. Finlay hits the ring and Chaos takes care of him as well, Goto applies the Boston crab to Robinson and Robinson eventually gets to the ropes. Yoshi-Hashi tags in and he nails Robinson with a few strikes, Yoshi-Hashi and Robinson get into a striking exchange. Yoshi-Hashi then nails Robinson with a mule kick, Robinson recovers and he nails Yoshi-Hashi with a gut buster. Finlay tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Finlay then hits Yoshi-Hashi with a running European uppercut. Finlay gets to the middle rope to land another European uppercut, Yoshi-Hashi nails Finlay with a super kick from out of nowhere.

Goto and Robinson get tagged in by their respective partners, Goto quickly catches Robinson with a clothesline followed by a spin kick. Goto then hits Robinson with a belly to back suplex for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi and Goto then hit Robinson with some double team moves for a near fall. Finlay then drags Yoshi-Hashi out of the ring to throw him into the barricade, Goto then shoves Robinson into Finlay. Robinson recovers to hit Goto with a left followed by Pulp Friction for the three count.

Winners: David Finlay & Juice Robinson

Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Sanada & Hiromu Takahashi) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, El Desparado & Takashi Iizuka)

The match begins with Suzuki tagging Desparado into the match and Naito tags Bushi in, Kanemaru jumps Bushi from behind and Bushi fights back against both men. Bushi drops Desparado before just stomping away on him, Sanada tags in and he gets Desparado in the Paradise Lock before landing a drop kick. Naito tags in and he double teams Desparado alongside Sanada for a near fall, Takahashi tags in and he attacks Desparado with some strikes. Kanemaru drags Takahashi out of the ring and a brawl erupts before both teams that spills all over the place, Suzuki battles Naito up the entrance ramp. Suzuki nails Naito with a penalty kick on the entrance ramp, Desparado attacks Bushi with a steel chair and Suzuki does the same to Naito.

Takahashi gets back in the ring and Desparado attacks him with a title belt, Iizuka hits the ring and he stomps away on Takahashi. Suzuki would then catch Takahashi in a rope assisted arm bar, Iizuka tags in and he bites the arm of Takahashi. IIzuka traps the arm of Takahashi in the ropes while still biting him, Iizuka would also take the opportunity to choke a downed Takahashi. IIzuka would also take the chance to bite the head of Takahashi, Suzuki tags in and he kicks away at Takahashi. Takahashi tries fighting back and Suzuki briefly applies an ankle lock to him, Takahashi recovers and he nails Suzuki with a super kick. Naito tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Naito drops Suzuki and he nails him with a basement drop kick.

Naito then takes the chance to kick away at a downed Suzuki, Suzuki fights back and he applies the knee bar to Naito ad Naito gets to the ropes. Naito tries fighting back and Suzuki nails him with a knee lift, Sanada and Iizuka get tagged in by their respective partners. Suzuki-Gun would quickly start quadruple teaming Sanada, Iizuka grabs a piece of rope and he chokes Sanada with it. Suzuki and Naito start brawling all the way into the crowd, Iizuka grabs the steel glove and Bushi prevents him from using it. Sanada catches Iizuka in the Skull End and a tap out follows.

Winners: Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Sanada & Hiromu Takahashi)

After the match, a brawl breaks out between Bushi & Hiromu Takahashi, Roppongi 3K and Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desparado.

Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Chuckie T) vs. Kota Ibushi & Chase Owens

The match begins with Okada nailing Ibushi with a kick before applying a headlock, Okada then drops Ibushi with a shoulder tackle. Ibushi and Okada do some chain wrestling and nobody gets a clear advantage, T and Owens get tagged in by their respective partners. Owens gets T down and he wrenches away on his arm, T then drops Owens with a shoulder tackle. T would then apply a single leg crab to Owens, T transitions into an STF against Owens before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. T fakes a moonsault attempt before nailing Owens with a drop kick, Owens fights back and he nails T with a rope assisted Code Breaker.

Ibushi tags in and he double teams T alongside Owens for a near fall, Ibushi corners T before just stomping away on each other. Owens tags in and he nails a downed T with an elbow drop, Owens follows that up by landing a back breaker on T. Ibushi tags in and he double teams T again with Owens for another near fall, T fight back and he clobbers a charging Ibushi with a knee strike followed by a missile drop kick. Okada tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Owens interferes and Okada knocks both opponents out of the ring. Okada then takes out both opponents with a dive. Okada gets Ibushi in the ring before landing a top rope high cross body for a near fall.

Ibushi recovers and he attacks Okada with a series of kicks, Ibushi would then drop Okada with an overhead kick. Owens tags in and he nails Okada with a running knee strike for a near fall, Okada recovers to nail Owens with a modified neck breaker. Okada would then nail Owens with a top rope elbow drop, Owens avoids the Rainmaker and Ibushi nails Okada with a missile drop kick. Ibushi gets knocked out of the ring and T takes him out with a suicide dive, Owens catches Okada with the Jewel Heist for a near fall. Owens goes for a package pile driver and Okada escapes, Okada nails Owens with a drop kick followed by the Cobra Clutch and a tap out follows.

Winners: Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Chuckie T)

NJPW New Japan Cup 2018 Finals: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Tanahashi and Sabre Jr, abre Jr takes Tanahashi down while wrenching away on his arm. Tanahashi gets free and Sabre Jr applies a cross face to him, Tanahashi gets free and he works over the arm of Sabre Jr. Sabre Jr gets free and he briefly attacks the leg of Tanahashi, Tanahashi gets a headlock on Sabre Jr and he uses it to ground his opponent. Sabre Jr gets free to apply a head scissors to Tanahashi, Tanahashi gets free and he applies another headlock to Sabre Jr. Tanahashi then drops Sabre Jr with a shoulder tackle before applying another headlock, Tanahashi then hits Sabre Jr with a side Russian leg sweep.

Tanahashi goes for a senton and Sabre Jr catches him in a head scissors until Tanahashi gets to the ropes, Sabre Jr goes to work on the arm of Tanahashi while Tanahashi is in the ropes. Sabre Jr gets Tanahashi up while landing some European uppercuts, Sabre Jr drops Tanahashi to apply an inverted cross face until Tanahashi gets to the ropes. Sabre Jr also decides to kick away at the injured arm of Tanahashi before just wrenching away on the arm, Sabre Jr then hits Tanahashi with an overhead kick to the arm. Sabre Jr drops Tanahashi before pulling backwards on both of his arms, Tanahashi eventually gets to the ropes to save his arms from further damage. Sabre Jr then focuses his attack on the wrist of Tanahashi, Tanahashi gets free and Sabre Jr kicks him in the arm.

Tanahashi recovers and he drops Sabre Jr with a flying forearm strike, Tanahashi then slams Sabre Jr before landing a middle rope somersault senton for a near fall. Sabre Jr recovers and he applies the octopus stretch to Tanahashi, Tanahashi escapes and he nails Sabre Jr with a dragon screw leg whip. Tanahashi goes for something and he winds up having an abdominal stretch exchange with Sabre Jr, Tanahashi then drops Sabre Jr with a pump handle slam. Sabre Jr recovers and he applies a rear naked choke to Tanahashi, Sabre Jr transitions into a triangle choke against Tanahashi. Tanahashi gets free and he applies the Texas cloverleaf to Sabre Jr, Sabre Jr gets free and gets Tanahashi in an arm bar.

Tanahashi quickly escapes and he knocks Sabre Jr out of the ring after landing a dragon screw leg whip, Tanahashi goes to the top rope and he nails Sabre Jr with a High Fly Flow. Tanahashi gets Sabre Jr back in the ring and Sabre Jr catches him in a knee bar for a few moments, Sabre Jr then attacks Tanahashi with a plethora of stomps and kicks. Sabre Jr goes for a jump guillotine choke, Tanahashi gets free to catch Sabre Jr with multiple Twist & Shouts. Tanahashi goes to the top rope and he misses the High Fly Flow, Sabre Jr catches a downed Tanahashi in a knee bar into a heel hook. Tanahashi eventually makes it to the rope to break the hold, Sabre Jr and Tanahashi would then get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring.

Sabre Jr drops Tanahashi with a leg sweep before attempting a penalty kick, Tanahashi blocks the kick and he goes for a dragon screw leg whip. Sabre Jr counters that into a roll up on Tanahashi for a near fall, Sabre Jr and Tanahashi get into another striking exchange. Sabre Jr would then catch Tanahashi with a roll up followed by a penalty kick for another near fall, Sabre Jr drops for a knee bar and Tanahashi counters with a dragon suplex attempt. Sabre Jr gets free and Tanahashi nails him with a sling blade followed by a dragon suplex for a few near falls, Tanahashi goes for the High Fly Flow and he nails it. Tanahashi goes back up to the top rope and he misses a second High Fly Flow attempt, Tanahashi goes for a roll up and Sabre Jr counters with Napalm Death and Tanahashi taps out.

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr.

After the match, Zack Sabre Jr. says that he is challenging Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. Okada makes his way to the ring with Gedo by his side, Sabre Jr. and Okada go face to face.
