Welcome to the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT; I'm Ryan Cook and I'll be taking you through all of tonight's action as we begin a new era in NXT; the era of Strong Style. What's next for Shinsuke Nakamura after defeating Samoa Joe at takeover? Who is left to challenge Asuka now that Bayley has left? What will be the next step for Ember Moon? Tye Dillinger vs Wesley Blake
They lock up a few times with Blake playing to the crowd as they that Wesley is a zero. Not much happening the first few minutes, just a headlock as Dillinger does a cartwheel and does his perfect 10 pose. Dillinger hits Blake with several chops then Wesley turns it around and drops Tye as we go to commercial.
Blake drops Tye with a clothesline for a quick 1 count. as we come back from commercial, keeping Tye grounded with a rear chin lock. Tye rolls Blake up, but only gets 2 then Blake hits a backstabber for a quick 2 of his own. Blake goes up top and goes for a swanton, but Tye dodges it then drops Blake with a series of clotheslines and then 10 kicks in the corner. Tye hits a side russian leg sweep then hits the Tye Breaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Tye Dillinger via pinfall with the Tye Breaker
-They then recap the debut of Bobby Roode. They then plug TM61 versus The Authors of Pain in our main even then recap Asuka and Bayley from Takeover as we go to commercial.
-As we come back they recap No Way Jose vs Austin Aries. They then show an interview they did with Austin Aries after Hideo Itami put him to sleep. Aries says he will end Hideo's career. They then recap Asuka vs Bayley. They interview Bayley backstage who says she's disappointed then Ember Moon comes by and says she should be proud; wow Ember Moon is so short.. Next they show the RAW debut of Bayley against Dana Brooke this past Monday night. Next they plug the main event recap before our main event tag team match as we go to commercial.
-They recap Gargano and Ciampa as we come back then Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura then we find out that Shinsuke will be back next week, mentioning Joe's dislocated jaw.
-We get another vignette for Sanity; whatever that may be.
TM61 vs The Authors of Pain
They get at it before the match even starts, TM61 sending AOP out of the ring then they dive out after them. The match starts with Miller and one of the AOP then he tags in Thorne who gets taken out by the one on the outside, grabbing Throne and driving him shoulder first into the steel post from the apron; that was certainly unique. Finally we get some names for these guys...Not sure how you spell their names so bear with me...Akum is the one with tattoos and Razar is the one without them apparently.
Akum is in control of Throne, quickly tagging in Razar who gets a quick 2 count. Miller gets tagged in and takes out both members of AOP. Miller gets a quick 2 count then they drop Razar, getting another quick 2 count, as Thorne tags Miller back in. Razar hits a spinebuster for a very close 2 count then Thorne goes to dive out of the ring, but Akum catches him then they hit double powerbombs on TM61 then after a legal tag Akum and Razar take out Miller for the pin and the win with a clothesline.
Winner: The Authors of Pain via pinfall.
